As White House officials struggle to decide which documents to release to the public (and which will be conveniently destroyed before the current government leaves office), as part of an ongoing project to preserve and commemorate the presidential legacy of George Walker Bush, I call on all fellow tribers to send me a shoe.

Collected shoes will be packaged and mailed to archivists at the George W. Bush Presidential Library, to stand as a lasting, material and symbolic tribute to his legacy.
